The shelf cloud hung in the sky in Wrocław on Friday. The amazing phenomenon was captured on the recording by Reporter 24. This type of cloud form occurs on storm fronts, and gusty winds usually blow in the area where it occurs.

A very active storm front extended on Friday afternoon over Silesia, Lesser Poland and Podkarpacie. According to tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Arleta Unton-Pyziołek, there was a strong convection in the warm air, i.e. clouds rising to a height of 12-13 kilometers.

It appeared on Friday Wrocław an amazing phenomenon captured by Reporter 24. It was a shelf cloud, also known as a squall bulwark. As explained by the synoptic tvnmeteo.pl, strong rising and falling currents in the cloud that appeared in the capital of Lower Silesia brought the development of violent storms and the formation of a squall embankment cloud on the forehead.

This type of cloud form occurs on storm fronts, in the front. In the area of ​​its occurrence, there is usually a gusty wind, called a squall, and heavy rainfall.
