Shooting at a primary school in Belgrade. Reuters: One dead, five students injured

An armed teenager entered an elementary school in Belgrade on Wednesday morning and started shooting. He has been arrested, Serbian police said. Reuters reported that a school security guard was killed and five students were injured.

Police received a report of a shooting at Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School around 8:40 am.

As she reported, the perpetrator is a seventh-grade student. The teenager was detained. The statement said the 14-year-old fired several shots, possibly from his father’s pistol, at other students and a school security guard.

A security guard is dead, five students are injured, Reuters reports.
