Shopee is already operating in Poland. This means that Allegro has gained another competitor. Poland has become the first country in Europe where the Singapore e-commerce platform is available.
Shopee also operates in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
The products on the platform have been divided into 25 thematic categories, such as home and garden, beauty, computers and laptops, pets, photography, collections and art, and gaming. As noted by the industry portal Wiadomości Handlowe.pl, Shopee’s offer is so far mainly made up of Chinese gadgets. The origin of the products is indicated, among others, by addresses for complaints or delivery time.
Shopee tempts buyers with free shipping, with no minimum order value. After the promotional period, the shipping costs will be PLN 8.99 (parcel locker) or PLN 10.95 (courier). The company also offers a coupon worth PLN 15 for the first purchases (when shopping for a minimum of PLN 20). It also advertises daily promotions of selected products for PLN 1.
Shopee supports three payment methods – Blik, payment card and Przelewy24. Registration on the platform can be made through your Facebook, Google, Apple account or by creating a new profile on Shopee.
