Easter is getting closer. Due to the upcoming holidays in the coming days, the stores of some chains will be open longer. In turn, on Holy Saturday, stores will be open shorter than usual. Below is a commercial calendar on the coming days.
Where and what time will we shop on Easter? If we haven't had time with all the errors yet, we have some time. Here are the opening hours of stores this weekend.
Frog
The Żabki press office informed us that on Holy Thursday and Good Friday (April 17 and 18) stores will be open as standard – from 6:00 to 23:00.
On Holy Saturday (April 19), all stores can be open to 14:00. After 14:00 the decision to open the store will be made by the franchisees themselves, and information about opening hours will be available in individual facilities and in the Żappka application.
“Also on the website www.zabka.pl You will be able to check if the store will be open. Most Żabka stores work on days covered by restrictions, taking advantage of the exclusion for entrepreneurs selling in person and on their own ” – it was stated in a statement.
In the case of Easter itself, and on Monday, the same, “the same rules of activity apply as on Sundays covered by trade restrictions”.

Lidl
“On Thursday and Friday, April 17 and 18, Lidl Polska stores will operate according to the standard opening hours for given days. However, on Holy Saturday, April 19, the stores will be open until 13:00” – told us Aleksandra Robaszkiewicz, Corporate Affairs and CSR director at Lidl Polska.
Of course, “on Easter, April 20, and Easter Monday, April 21, our network will be closed.”

Ladybird
“From 16 to 18 April, over 3,200 Biedronka chain outlets will be open until at least 23:30 or longer, and in Holy Saturday (April 19) all stores will be open until 13:30” – the network informed us.
Net
“In the pre -Christmas period, net stores are open from 6-23. On Holy Saturday we invite you to shop from 6 to 13:30” – the network representative told us in response to our questions.
Carrefour
In the case of Carrefour on Thursday and Friday, hypermarkets open until 23.00, and the opening hours of supermarkets will not change.
On Saturday, hypermarkets and supermarkets open until 13.00.
Auchan
All Auchan stores will be open “at normal hours, usually from 6.30 – 7.00 to 22.00”. On Holy Saturday, all stores will be closed at 13.00.
Chorten
“Chorten stores have independent owners who individually determine the opening hours of their facilities, we are not a homogeneous network, but a partner group. We have nearly 3,000 locations of the entire PLSce stores and they have a different working time” – wrote Monika Kosz -Koszewska, marketing director and spokesperson of the Chorten Group in response to our questions.
– Some smaller branches extend the opening hours, especially on Holy Saturday. The staff finish work at 14, and then the store owners and families stand behind the counter. This distinguishes Chorten stores from discount stores and hypermarkets – she added.
Kaufland
In the case of the Kaufland network on April 14-18, its facilities are open until 23:00 (except for markets with restrictions in trade), on Holy Saturday, April 19 – until 13:00, on April 20-21, all Kaufland stores will be closed.
