A passenger car driver crashed into a building in Sieraków (Greater Poland). – He drove hard into our house. First, it broke through a double barrier with rails by the street, hit the pavement, and then it broke through the wall and stopped in the middle of the house, in the dining room – says Natasza. The 30-year-old driver was drunk.
The incident took place on Wednesday at the intersection of Poznańska and Wroniecka streets in Sieraków. We received the information and photos on the website Contact 24 from a resident, Mr. Natasza. – It was 4.36 o’clock when the car hit our house with great force – says the woman.
He adds that the car first broke through the railings on the road, then the wall of the building. – He stopped in the middle of the house, in the dining room. We have broken windows, damaged furniture, everything is in ruins – he says.
The 30-year-old driver was drunk
The police received the report of the accident before 5 a.m. – A 30-year-old passenger car driver, a resident of the Szamotuły poviat, was driving along Wroniecka Street in Sieraków. The preliminary findings show that he did not adjust the speed to the conditions on the road, fell off the road and hit a building on Poznańska Street, says senior sergeant Justyna Rybczyńska, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Międzychód.
The driver has been tested for alcohol. – It turned out that he had almost 2.5 per mille. Together with the passenger, he was transported to hospital. Both men were conscious – adds the policewoman.
Mrs. Natasza says that this is not the first time that a car has destroyed their house. – A similar event took place in 1994, but then it was a TIR – added the Internet user.
