Police from Sierpc have detained a 28-year-old man suspected of numerous thefts, drug possession and robbery. – The man targeted various supermarkets, from which he took everything he could easily sell. He threatened employees with a stick – the local police reported.
At the beginning of the week, two crimes occurred in the Sierpc area. During the activities conducted by police officers from the Sierpc police station, evidence was collected against a 28-year-old who – according to the police – turned theft into a permanent source of income.

– A resident of Sierpc County took mainly expensive alcohol, food and chemical products, and cosmetics from retail outlets. Not only did he steal, but last Monday and Tuesday he also came with a stick and threatened to kill store employees – said Senior Warrant Officer Katarzyna Krukowska, spokeswoman for the Sierpc police.
The police have detained a suspect who, according to their findings, committed six crimes. – The losses he caused through his behavior were estimated at several thousand złoty. The man has been charged, and will now be held accountable for robbery, numerous thefts and possession of drugs – the policewoman informed.

Temporary detention
Based on the evidence collected by the police officers, the prosecutor filed a motion to the court to temporarily arrest the suspect, to which the court agreed. – The 28-year-old will spend the next three months behind bars of the detention center, where he will await further decisions and the trial – concluded Senior Warrant Officer Krukowska.
