– Two charges concern accepting a financial advantage and making the performance of official duties conditional on obtaining such benefits – the National Prosecutor's Office announced on Friday. The suspect is Bartłomiej Sabat, a politician from PO.
The deputy marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship was charged with corruption, said prosecutor Katarzyna Calów-Jaszewska from the press department of the National Prosecutor's Office on Friday. This is Bartłomiej Sabat from PO.
During their activities, investigators charged Sabat with two charges.
– Both are allegations of corruption. They concern accepting a financial benefit and making the performance of official duties conditional on obtaining such benefits – said prosecutor Katarzyna Calów-Jaszewska.
The allegations concern both Sabat's function as vice-marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship and his previous position as vice-president of Częstochowa.
Proc. Katarzyna Calów-Jaszewska added that an application for a three-month arrest for the suspect has been submitted, which will be decided by the court.
