According to the findings of the investigation, the gang members converted hundreds of bang weapons into acute, and then sold. Several killings were made with it abroad. Kamil B., accused of managing a criminal group, was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Information about an unlawful judgment was provided by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Katowice, which supervised the investigation.

According to the indictment, Kamil B. from 2013 to 2015 in Poland and The Netherlands Together with Tomasz K. and Piotr W., he founded and coated the gang, whose members committed crimes related to the production, smuggling and trade in firearms and ammunition. The group also dealt with the production and trafficking of drugs, which were sold in EU countries, as well as forcing a return of claims.

“The findings of the investigation showed that the group members using stolen documents, they purchased a bang weapon, which they converted into acute weapons, and then sold on the territory of the Netherlands, where several killings were made using it. In addition, they dealt with the production and trade of several dozen kilos of intoxicants and psychotropic substances in the form of marijuana, amphetamine cocaine ” – described a spokesman for the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Katowice Michał Binkiewicz.

Initially, the investigation was conducted by the Silesian Faculty of the National Prosecutor's Office, which sent an indictment to the court against Tomasz K. and Piotr W. Materials of the investigation regarding Kamil B. were excluded and forwarded to the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Katowice. The indictment against him, describing 14 allegations, sent investigators to court in 2024.

“The District Court in Rybnik shared the prosecutor's position contained in the indictment and found Kamil B. guilty of committing all the acts alleged to him. The court, in accordance with the prosecutor's request, imposed a total penalty of 12 years imprisonment and imposed on him the obligation to pay a fine” – added prosecutor Binkiewicz.

Kamil B. has already been sentenced to imprisonment for attempted smuggling firearms. He held her in the Penitentiary Institution in the Netherlands.

According to the findings of the procedure, the members of the group processed a weapon that was bought legally in Slovakia without combat features – it was sold there, e.g. as a signal or exercise weapon. It was transported to Poland, where in garages, among others In Bytom and Wodzisław Śląski she was converted into a firearm. Initially, the quality of modifications was low, with time criminals began to produce on their own, among others barrels and silencers. CBŚP informed in 2017 about the takeover of over 340 pieces of such weapons.

The first fell in the summer of 2014 in Germany Couriers transporting a firearm to the Netherlands. In their car found, among others 16 pieces of Czechoslovakian assault rifles Vz.58 (equivalent to the AK-47 rifle, so-called Kalashnikov), as well as machine guns. It was already established then that this weapon was converted in Poland, restoring its functionality.

In December 2015, another courier from Poland came up – along with two Citizens of the Netherlands. The perpetrators then used the services of a courier company – the elements of the weapon were hidden in a metal pedestal filled with sand. At that time, the Polish police have already established broad cooperation under the aegis of Europol with the Dutch, German and Slovak police. In September 2015, Tomasz K. pseud. “Virus” – one of the members of the group, which, among others He organized arms metastasis to the Netherlands. Found with him, among others Fake ID card.

In November 2015, Rafał W. was also detained during a routine road control in Zabrze in the trunk of his car, chests with almost 2.9 thousand were found. The pieces of ammunition cal. 7.62 (matching, among others, Kalasznikov's type rifles), and during later searches – several sets of keys to various castles, which proved to be an important evidence. It turned out that W. was a courier and a warehouseman of weapons bought in Slovakia. Shortly later, the police found significant amounts of weapons and ammunition in one of the Bytom garages. At that time, it also turned out that group members in Poland produced, among others barrels and silencers for processed weapons.

CBŚP appointed a special group to the case, consisting of office officers and police officers of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice. Her activity resulted in subsequent detention – on Easter 2016 another courier and weapon warehouse Rafał M. was detained in Sosnowiec, at which the Vz.58, ammunition and drugs were found.

In May 2016, policemen entered the next garage in Bytom, in which they found, among others Three machine guns. In the next month they revealed the next garage, where weapons bought in Slovakia were stored. Members of the group rented garages based on forged identity evidence.

Piotr W. was also detained-the originator and organizer of the procedure, thanks to which the group members achieved four-, five times puncture (weapons bought in Slovakia for around 230-300 euros per item, they sold in the Netherlands for 900-1000 euros). In September 2016, Andrzej S. suspected of producing at least 150 barps of scorpion machine guns was detained. In the next garage, the police found 36 weapons – including 6 ZAPTAVA rifles and 30 assault pistols type Cz.

Gang members bought weapons in Slovakia using stolen identity evidence. It was sold as a category D weapon – an alarm, preventing shot from shot with acute ammunition. Such a weapon can be bought there after presenting the ID card, without the obligation to register.
