Silesian. 17 more detainees in the Psycho Fans gang

At the behest of the CBŚP prosecutor's office, 17 consecutive people in the investigation in the case of the gang founded by the hooligans of the Chorzów movement – Psycho Fans. They were charged with participation in an organized criminal group dealing with, among others beats and trade in large amounts of drugs.

The investigation in the Psycho Fans, is supervised by the Silesian Faculty of the National Prosecutor's Office. There are currently 130 suspects in it. The indictments previously addressed to the courts against members of this gang covered over 180 people, some of them have already been convicted.

According to the findings of the investigation, Gang operated from at least October 2014 to December 2017 in the Śląskie and Lesser Poland voivodships. Its members have, among others Participation in beating and fights with hooligans of other football clubs – the so -called laws, as well as robberies, fraud, ransom abductions, large -scale drug trafficking, burglary and theft as well as crimes against documents.

Another 17 people were detained on this matter on Tuesday. As Katarzyna Calaów-Jaszewska from the PK press department said on Wednesday, the prosecutor presented them with charges regarding participation in an organized criminal group dealing with, among others beating and placing significant amounts of drugs on the market.

According to information with PK, the activities carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday were related to the thread of the investigation regarding the members of the Psycho Fans gang, who were subordinated or cooperated with Marek K., pseud. Celebrity. This is one of the former members of the gang who decided to cooperate with investigators and gave testimonies incriminating the companions.

Katowicka “Gazeta Wyborcza” announced that among the 17 detainees were the former vice president of Movement Chorzów Marcin S. “One of the detainees was the member of the board of the company running one of the football teams from the Silesian Voivodeship” – PK said in a communiqué.

130 suspects

“After interrogating all suspects, the prosecutor submitted a request to the court for the application of detention on remand for three months. To the remaining 16 people, the prosecutor applied libertarian preventive measures in the form of: property sureties in the amount of PLN 10,000 to PLN 100,000, police supervision and prohibition of contacting specific people,” said Prosecutor Calas -Jaszewska.

According to PK data, there are currently 130 suspects in the ongoing investigation. Until now, 31 cases have been excluded from the main investigation to separate conduct, in which indictments were made against a total of 182 people. 107 of them were arrested.
