Gadomski announced “partial relief of hospitals”

Last week, Deputy Minister Gadomski said in the Sejm that the ministry, despite the increase in spending on the healthcare sector, sees problems in the hospital sector. He reminded that the Ministry of Health has prepared a system project – the act on the modernization of this sector, and his consultations are underway. The act is to improve the economic and financial situation of hospital entities. Its project was presented at the end of December last year.

– We are planning to partially reduce the debt of hospitals under this act. I am saying partial, because first of all, we want to identify the most urgent needs, for which we will spend about PLN 3.5 billion in the next 4-5 years – he said. He explained that the money was intended only for debt relief.
