Slovakia. Public media to be liquidated. The opposition left the room

Minister of Culture Martina Szimkoviczova, justifying the bill before parliamentarians, claimed that RTVS gradually lost its objectivity and it lacked a balance of opinions.

She cited the example twice Polish and decisions made by the Sejm after the elections on October 15, 2023, regarding public media, and noted that at that time Slovakia there were no voices about the violation of democracy.
