Słubice policemen struck the glass and saved a woman whose car hung one axis above a deep ditch with water. The 46-year-old was intoxicated. She explained to officers that she had buried herself in the snow, so she decided to drink alcohol and fall asleep on the back sofa of the car.
The incident occurred on the night of February 13-14 in Słubice. Policemen received a report that a woman was lying on Cicha Street in the car. When the officers arrived, they noticed a car that stood one axis on the edge of the bridge over a deep ditch with water. A woman was lying on the back sofa who gave no signs of life. They decided to knock out the glass.
– Contact was made with an unconscious woman and her life functions were checked. It was intoxicated and dressed only in a thin sweatshirt and pants – we read in a police announcement.
The 46-year-old explained that she buried herself in the snow, so she drank alcohol and lay down. She added that she wasn't the one who drove the car. The vehicle did not have current technical tests.
The woman was taken care of by doctors, and then to custody, where she had time to sober up. The car was secured.
Elder aspirant Ewa Murmyło, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Słubice explained that the vehicle was to belong to the daughter of a 46-year-old. “A woman will probably be instructed because of moving a car that should not be allowed to move,” she said.
