CERT Polska warns against SMSs with information about the date of the next vaccination. Fraudsters encourage you to click on a link, which may give them access to, among others, electronic banking or social networking sites.
The CERT Polska team in the post on Facebook warns: Have you received the information about the appointment of the next vaccination date, but available only from the application level? Be careful! It could be a message from criminals!
SMS with false information
As CERT Polska informs, the new fraudulent campaign targets users of Android phones. Its target is malware infection from the Alien family.
“Fraudsters send SMS messages sent by M0BYWATEL. The content contains a link to a fake Play Store website where the alleged mObywat application can be downloaded. or services related to cryptocurrencies “- we read.
“We have already warned against similar schemes of fraud several times. Unfortunately, criminals are still active” – adds CERT Polska.
