Smuggling 200 kilograms of drugs. 100 allegations for 25 people

Officers of the Central Police Investigation Bureau detained another five gang members derived from the hooligan environment. The group could smuggle 200 kilograms of drugs. There are already 25 suspects in the case who have heard over 100 allegations.

Investigative findings show that the gang was involved in the smuggling of significant amounts of psychotropic substances and intoxicants from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and from Spain to Poland, as well as placing them on the market throughout the country.

– Recently, five people have been detained in Greater Poland and Mazovia, and the real estate they use were searched, taking over the money, documentation and electronic equipment – said the spokesman for CBŚP Podkom. Krzysztof Wrześniowski.

The detainees heard allegations of placing significant amounts of drugs on the market. Three people were temporarily arrested at the request of the prosecutor.

Over 100 allegations for 25 people

The first actions in this investigation took place in 2023 and since then over 100 allegations have been heard by 25 people. Of which five people are suspected of participating in an organized criminal group, and one about managing this group. 13 temporary arrests were also used.

Investigative findings show that the group operated in 2018-2024 and in this period could place nearly 200 kg of drugs in western and central Poland.
