In Lower Silesia, the landscape has become winter. In the Karkonosze poviat, in the area of the Okraj Pass, snow was falling from 3 am. Driving conditions were difficult on the roads.
On Monday it became winter in the south of Lower Silesia, in the Karkonosze district. Snow had been falling since 3am. Difficult conditions prevailed on most roads in the region.

– I am surprised, but not by the reaction of road workers, but by the aura at this time – said Krzysztof, a truck driver who reached the Karkonosze poviat on Monday in an interview with a TVN24 reporter. – I wouldn’t leave at all Wroclaw. It was beautiful there, and here it’s a completely different world – he added. The man had a lot of problems with passing because of the snow on the road.
Janusz Kowalski from Amelkowa Chata on the Okraj Pass told us that there was no snow at all before three o’clock in the morning. When he was talking to a reporter from our station, he had to clear snow from his car.
Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued warnings for the whole country before frost. In the south – in Lesser Poland and Silesia – additional snowfall may occur on Monday. It can be up to 10 cm.
In addition, there are also alarms against icing and downpours.
