Legia Warsaw did not perform a football miracle and said goodbye to the conference league at the quarter -finals. A week ago, the players of Goncalo Feio lost at home with Chelsea 0: 3, but on Stamford Bridge they presented themselves from a better side and won 2: 1! Ultimately, the whole two -time ended with the winning “The Blues” 4: 2 and they will play in the semi -final of the League of the Conference.
We know how much Legia Warsaw has earned in the conference league
Legia Warsaw began its adventure in Europe in the 2024/2025 season last summer with three conference league qualifying rounds and for each of them the club collected 175,000 euros. Added to this was the amount of EUR 3.17 million for direct promotion to the league phase of the conference league. In it, the FEIO team earned EUR 1.6 million for four wins.
Then you need to add 136 thousand. euro for money from the “tie” pool awarded by UEFA, 840,000 euro for taking seventh place in the table and 400,000 euro for taking a place 1-8. In addition, there are financial prizes for promotions to 1/8 of the final (EUR 800,000) and the quarter -finals (EUR 1.3 million). All this in total gives 8,771,000 euros, or about 37.5 million PLN.
However, this is only money earned “on the pitch” by Legia. Taking into account preliminary estimates for the historical ranking and earnings from television rights, according to Football Meets Data The Warsaw team should earn at least EUR 11.4 million (PLN 48.7 million)! So there is a lot of indications that when all possible earnings are added, for the 2024/2025 season in Legia the limit of earnings in the amount of PLN 50 million should break.
