Late Tuesday evening, on the national road No. 61 in Zegrze Południowy (Legionowo poviat), a passenger car crashed into the barriers separating the roads. Two people were taken to the hospital. A helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue landed on the spot.
According to the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, around 23:00 in Zegrze Południowy, on the national road No. 61, the passenger car fell off the road. The firefighters from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Legionowo also informed about the accident.
“Attention: accident in Zegrze, the road towards Legionowo is completely blocked. A LPR helicopter landed on the spot. As a result of the incident, 2 people were injured” – firefighters wrote on Facebook. They added that five fire brigades participated in the rescue operation.
Two seriously ill people were hospitalized
The details of the accident were provided by the reporter of tvnwarszawa.pl Artur Węgrzynowicz. – On the bend of the road behind the bridge on the road towards Legionowo a passenger car hit the barriers. The car was badly damaged. Two people traveled on it. They were taken to hospital in a serious condition. In addition to the fire brigade, two medical rescue teams and a LPR helicopter arrived at the site, said Węgrzynowicz.
