Spanish entrepreneur Isak Andic, founder and owner of the Mango clothing store chain, died on Saturday in a mountain accident in Catalonia, the company announced in a statement.
The head of the regional government of Catalonia, Salvador Illa, expressed his condolences to the family of the 71-year-old businessman.

According to the EFE agency, which cites sources in the company, Andic slipped and fell from a height of 150 meters while hiking with his wife and son in the Montserrat massif in the north-east of Spain, several dozen kilometers from Barcelona.
According to the daily “El Pais”, the fortune of Andic, the richest man in Catalonia, is estimated at approximately EUR 4.5 billion.
