Spain. Frosty morning
On Friday morning, the minimum temperature was -10 degrees Celsius in the provinces of Cuenca and Guadalajara, AEMET reported. On Thursday night, the thermometers in Valencia showed -8.5 degrees Celsius. It was the coldest night since the Philomena snowstorm that struck Spain at a similar time last year. At that time, such large temperature drops were also recorded.
– Yes, it is very cold, we are not used to it. But this is the time of year, January and February are the worst when it comes to cold, said the Spanish resident.
Over the weekend, the air temperature in some regions of the country will remain around -10 degrees Celsius, and in some places it may also drop to this value.
