A woman’s body was found near allotment gardens, in the bushes by the San River in Stalowa Wola (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). According to the prosecutor’s office, an “extended” autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
As reported by the local portal Stalówka.net, the gruesome discovery was made on Sunday (October 22) morning by young anglers on their way to fishing. They found the body of a woman aged approximately 55-60 near the pond at Działkowa Street near the San River in Stalowa Wola.
Prosecutor’s office: the woman’s body was lying in the bushes
Adam Cierpiatka, district prosecutor in Stalowa Wola, told tvn24.pl that the bodies were lying in the bushes.
– Witnesses are being questioned. For now, we are determining the cause of death, whether it was natural or whether third parties contributed to the death. An extended autopsy of the woman’s body is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday – ed.) at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Krakow – said the prosecutor.
When asked whether there were any visible injuries on the woman’s body, the head of the Stalowa Wola prosecutor’s office emphasized that, for the sake of the proceedings, he would not provide such information until the autopsy results were received.
No one has been arrested yet in the case of the woman’s death.
