A 32-year-old man faces up to five years in prison for painting graffiti on railway carriages. The losses he caused were estimated at over PLN 7,000. The man has already heard the charges and pleaded guilty.

As the Stalowa Wola police informed in a statement, in September last year the officers were notified about the destruction of the wagon. An unknown perpetrator painted graffiti on it. The losses were estimated at one thousand zlotys.

“As a result of the activities carried out, the police selected and detained a 32-year-old resident of Lublin suspected of this act,” said the police from Stalowa Wola.

The police determined that the man committed similar destruction in July 2023 and three times in 2022. “The total losses were estimated at over PLN 7,000,” the police informed.

As reported, the 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the crimes he was accused of. “He explained that painting graffiti was his passion and he acted spontaneously every time,” the police reported.

He faces up to five years in prison for his crimes.
