The 21-year-old had over two per mille of alcohol, and her 27-year-old partner had over per mille of alcohol. In this state, they “took care” of their 18-month-old daughter. The parents were detained and the girl was temporarily placed in family foster care. The Family and Juvenile Court in Stalowa Wola was informed about the situation.

On Sunday, after 7 p.m., the Stalowa Wola police officer on duty received information that in front of one of the blocks at ul. Poniatowskiego, most likely an inebriated woman is taking care of a small child.

On site, on a bench in front of a staircase in one of the blocks, the police patrol found a woman and a man with a small child. Both people smelled of alcohol. The child in the stroller was dressed inappropriately for the weather conditions.

The officers checked the sobriety of the parents of an 18-month-old girl. The test showed more than two per mille of alcohol in the child's 21-year-old mother and more than two per mille in the child's 27-year-old father.

The girl's parents were taken to the police detention center. The child was temporarily placed in family foster care.

The Family and Juvenile Court in Stalowa Wola was informed about the situation.

On Tuesday (November 26), the girl's parents were charged under Art. 160 pairs 2 of the Penal Code, which concerns exposing a person to danger.

§ 2. If the perpetrator is obliged to take care of a person exposed to danger, he or she shall be subject to the penalty of imprisonment from 3 months to 5 years.
