The journalist was arrested in connection with “the possibility of committing a crime of driving behind the vehicles of the Border Guard” – wrote “Fakt”.
Kaszuba described the situation in an interview with TVN24. – Yesterday afternoon we reported the arrest of a group of refugees – she said. – We followed the coach which, we hoped, transported them to a guarded center in Białystok. However, in Białystok it turned out that the coach in the Border Guard car was going towards the border – she said.
– We decided to follow the coach. Behind Supraśl, in front of Krynki, we were stopped by the police about 12 kilometers before the state of emergency. The officer told us that he had received a notification about the possibility of committing a crime that was to obstruct the work of the Border Guard. We followed the guards only, we followed the regulations, we didn’t shine our lights, we didn’t make their work difficult in any way. We tried to report on the course of events – she explained.
She added that the control “dragged on”. – It was not the standard 10-15 minutes. We were detained for about an hour, she said. She added that the officer allowed them to leave after talking to someone on the phone.

Absolutely nothing was hidden, and the entire activity carried out by the policemen was recorded – he noted. He stated that the inspection lasted 20 minutes, and it was extended by the fact that the journalist was unable to identify the fire extinguisher and a triangle in the car and called to ask the user of the vehicle about it.
