On Monday, the Government Center for Security sent an SMS message to recipients in the eastern poviats of the Podlaskie and Lubelskie voivodeships about the state of emergency. It’s about the phone number 800 100 115.
“Attention RCB alert. An SMS was sent to the recipients of the eastern poviats of the Podlaskie and Lubelskie voivodeships: ‘Attention! If you need help in the areas covered by the state of emergency, call the toll-free line of the Territorial Defense Forces at the telephone number 800 100 115” – said the Government Security Center on Monday .
Operation “Strong Support”
On Saturday, the head of the Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, also informed about this hotline. “800 100 115 – this is a hotline for residents of the border zone with Belarus launched by the Territorialses. This number can be used to obtain help and information on the support of the Polish Army in this area” – he wrote then on Twitter.
He also reported that the Territorial Defense Forces are conducting the “Strong Support” operation in the area covered by the state of emergency, and the territorial troops “conduct several dozen meetings with residents a day”.
A state of emergency for 30 days
President Andrzej Duda introduced a state of emergency on September 2 at the request of the government in 183 towns of the Lublin and Podlasie Voivodeships for 30 days. The Sejm accepted this decision.
