Police officers from Kalisz received information about a bullet that pierced the glass in the terrace window of one of the houses in Stobno (Greater Poland Voivodeship) on Monday after 6 p.m.

– The policemen who arrived at the scene initially determined that the bullet had pierced the window and entered the house where four people were. They are parents with two children aged 2 and 7. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident, said Assistant Commissioner Anna Jaworska-Wojnicz, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Kalisz.

The police searched the nearby area, questioned neighbors and inspected the bullet and the house. A forensic technician and a guide with a patrol and tracking dog worked on site.
It is not known whether the incident was intentional or whether the bullet accidentally hit the house. As reported by the subcomm. Jaworska-Wojnicz, a ballistics expert will be appointed to determine the type of bullet and the type of weapon from which it was fired.
