Two people were hospitalized after an accident in Kamień in the Chełm poviat (Lubelskie Voivodeship).
Everything happened on Thursday (2 September) before 9.00 p.m. – The policemen sent to the scene initially established that the 36-year-old resident of the Hrubieszów poviat, who was driving the Peugeot car, ran into the back of a Jeep car standing on the road. The latter vehicle was driven by a 49-year-old resident of the Kamień commune, who stopped the car to help a woman who drove into the ditch – says Commissioner Ewa Czyż from the City Police Headquarters in Chełm.
Passengers from the roadster were brought to the hospital
Two passengers were hospitalized with injuries and left in a jeep. One of them was released home after conducting tests.
– Both drivers were sober – says Kom. Czyż.
The policemen explain the circumstances of the accident. They also call for caution on the road.
