“Paved hell is good intentions” – this is how the police comment on the behavior of the 17-year-old who ran into a residential building in Kamienna Góra (Lower Silesia Province). The girl was under the influence of alcohol and did not have a driving license, but decided to help her drunk friend.
– The 17-year-old lost control of the vehicle and drove into a residential building. Fortunately, nothing happened to anyone – reports Katarzyna Trzepak-Balicka from the police in Kamienna Góra. And she adds that the teenager did not have the license to drive, and the study showed that she was under the influence of alcohol: she had 0.3 per mille in the body.
Police: decided to help a friend who was drunk
As indicated by the police, the case from Kamienna Góra shows that “paved hell is with good intentions”. – The teenager explained that she wanted to help a friend who was drunk. The way she decided to help her friend led to the fact that she would have to bear the consequences of her extremely irresponsible behavior – says the policewoman.
It turned out that the owner of the car was sitting in the passenger seat. He had almost two parts of alcohol in his body. According to the police, he claimed that he did not know that the 17-year-old did not have a driving license.
