IMGW warns of a storm in the Baltic Sea. In the central and western part of the coastal zone, where the second degree warning is in force, gusts up to 8 on the Beaufort scale.

It’s windy in Poland on Saturday. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued second and first degree alerts for part of the coast. By 10 am, the strongest gusts in the north of the country were recorded in Ustkawhere a speed of 76 kilometers per hour was measured, and in Łeba – 68 km/h.

IMGW announced a second degree storm warning for the Baltic Sea for the central and western parts of the coastal zone. There, the wind blows from the south-west from 6 to 7, with gusts up to 8 on the Beaufort scale.

In the eastern part of the coastal zone, the first degree of danger is in effect. There, the south-west wind blows to the west with force up to 6, with gusts up to 7 on the Beaufort scale. The warning will remain in effect until 4 p.m. Saturday.
