High waves crashing on the waterfront – this is what the Hel area looks like on Monday. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns of a storm in the Polish coastal zone.
There is strong wind in the north of the country on Monday. In connection with IMWM issued the third, highest level warnings for a storm in the Baltic Sea. The wind may gust up to 10 on the Beaufort scale, i.e. at a speed of 88-102 km/h.
How strong the wind is can be seen in the video below, where the waves are crashing against the fortified quay near the port of Hel.
