Strong storms swept through Italy. In the commune of Cesena in the Emilia-Romagna region, gusts of wind snapped trees and knocked over power poles. Firefighters intervened dozens of times. This may not be the end of violent, dangerous weather in the area, meteorologists warned.

Residents and firefighters from the Italian municipality of Cesena (Emilia-Romagna region, province of Forli-Cesena) have had a sleepless night. All because of the bad weather. Due to the storms, services were called for several dozen interventions for several hours. These are primarily broken trees, overturned poles and broken high-voltage lines.

On social media, the fire brigade documented one of the interventions when a large tree fell on the house.
