Thunderstorms occur on Wednesday in parts of the country. In places they are accompanied by rainfall as well as hail. Ice balls fell, among others, in Tychy and Mysłowice. We received the materials at Contact 24.

On Wednesday, it thundered, among others, in Silesia, Małopolska and Lower Silesia. Storms are accompanied by rainfall and strong gusts of wind. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns against violent aura. Alarms for hail and heat storms are in place.

“A hail of the size of golf balls fell a dozen or so minutes ago in Mysłowice in the Silesian Voivodeship” – one of the 24 Reporters wrote after 7 p.m.

In Mysłowice (Silesia), through which the hailstorm passed, firefighters intervened 25 times.

– Mysłowice firefighters remove the reported threats related to, inter alia, local flooding on roadways and in residential and production buildings and in the Nursing Home. The reports also concerned broken trees that fell over not only on the road, but also on cars and power poles. The roofing was damaged in several buildings, informed young brigadier after 20 o’clock.
