Tragic effects of accidents in Podkarpacie. On Saturday in Straszęcin a 35-year-old driver was killed, and on Sunday in Wola Ciekilińska 56-year-old pedestrian. Policemen determine exactly the circumstances of these events and call for security.
The first event occurred on Saturday around 2pm in Straszęcin in the Dębicki poviat. The preliminary findings of policemen show that the driver of Honda, after overtaking another vehicle on the curve of the road, most likely lost control of the car, pulled into a roadside ditch, and then hit the fence of the property.
As a result of this event, the driver died – a 35 -year -old resident of Straszęcin. The passenger participating in the case of a vehicle, a 23-year-old resident of Stara Jastrząbka, was transported to the hospital in Dębica.

Another tragic accident occurred on Sunday around 18.30 in Wola Ciekilińska on provincial road No. 993. The current, preliminary findings of police officers show that the Fiat driver, moving towards Gorlice, hit a pedestrian who walked in the middle of the road in the same direction.
Pedestrian life could not be saved. He is a 56-year-old resident of the Dębowiec commune.
The police explain the causes and circumstances of both events under the supervision of the prosecutor. Uniforms call for prudent and safe driving.
