The U.S. Geological Survey stated the preliminary quake had a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 and the aftershock a preliminary magnitude of 5.7.
The epicenters of each quakes have been about 100 miles ( 160 kilometers) southeast of Bogota, in response to USGS. Individuals within the metropolis of 11 million felt buildings and flooring rumble within the noon quake, with many residents leaving their properties.
