“Storm on the Baltic Sea on Saturday and Sunday. The forecasted height of the significant wave is about 2 m in the west to about 3 m in the south-eastern Baltic Sea. Conditions for sailing are very difficult. It is better to wait out these 2 days in port” – it was reported in IMWM weather forecast on YouTube.
“In the coastal zone, the westerly, stormy wind will also generate high waves: on the beaches by the open sea and on The Vistula Spit it can be about 1.5 to 2 meters. In the western part of the Bay of Pomerania and on the Bay of Gdańsk in the Tri-City area, the wave is calmer and much lower, below 1 meter” – described the institute and emphasized that “bathing in such conditions is a deadly threat”.

IMWM also informed about a weather warning related to strong wind of 1st degree in northern Poland. The wind associated with the storm will blow, reaching an average speed of up to 45 km/h, with gusts of up to 75 km/h, from the west and north-west. Light precipitation will also be possible there rain and temperature maximum reaching 22 degrees Celsius.
In other parts of the country, Sunday is expected to be sunny, reaching up to 26 degrees Celsius in the center and 28 degrees in the south and east. Cloud cover and wind are expected to be moderate.
