Second degree meteorological warnings – strong wind
Second degree warnings against strong winds apply in the following voivodeships:
Strong winds with an average speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 80 km/h are forecast. from the south and southwest. At times the wind may increase to 50 km/h and gust up to 100 km/h.
The warnings will be valid until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
First degree meteorological warnings – strong wind
First degree strong wind alerts have been issued in the following voivodeships:
- Silesianin the following counties: Żywiec, Bielsko, Bielsko-Biała;
- Lesser Polandin the following counties: Tatra, Nowy Targ, Sucha.
Locally strong winds with an average speed of up to 40 km/h and gusts of up to 75 km/h are forecast to occur from the south and southwest. The warnings will be valid until 4 p.m. on Sunday, only in Lower Silesia until 11 on the same day.
What is the second degree IMWM meteorological warning?
The second level warning predicts the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena causing significant material losses and a threat to health and life. Dangerous phenomena or the effects of their occurrence significantly limit business activity. Expect disruptions to your daily functioning.
