The weather in Poland has been very dynamic for several hours. The Ziva low pressure center located on the Finnish-Russian border brought strong winds with a speed exceeding 100 km/h to Poland. At Kontakt24 we received photos showing the effects of night storms.
Mrs. Magda z sent us photos of damaged garden furniture Gdańsk. Second degree IMWM warnings are in force in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The wind speed there may exceed 90 km/h.

Strong wind. Where the wind blows the strongest
According to tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek, the strongest gusts are currently recorded on Śnieżka (166 km/h), in Gdańsk (94 km/h), Ustka (90 km/h) and on Hel and Łeba (86 km/h).
– In the following hours, the wind strength will increase, and the strongest gusts are forecast in the north-east of the country – in the Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie, as well as Masovian and Lublin voivodeships – adds Zdonek.
IMWM warnings of the first and second degree are in force in 13 voivodeships. According to forecasts, the wind will weaken around 4-5 p.m.
