As a result of strong wind and heavy rainfall on Tuesday, firefighters all over Poland intervened over 570 times. They had the most work in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship, where three tent camps were preventively evacuated. In many places the wind broke trees, and in Białystok a fragment of the facade of the block was torn off. In the evening, almost 20,000 recipients were without electricity.

Bajerska added that power engineers locate failures and, where possible, remove them on a regular basis. She emphasized that the strong wind was destroying the trees, the lines were broken, and the removal of failures is made difficult by the fact that some places are difficult to access due to heavy rainfall and marshy terrain.
