One person died in an accident between an ambulance and a passenger car in Strzeszów in Lower Silesia. Preliminary findings show that the ambulance was driving with its signals on when the oncoming vehicle drove into the other lane and collided head-on with the rescuers.
The tragic accident occurred on Friday around 3:30 p.m. in Strzeszów (Lower Silesia). The ambulance traveling with its signals was hit by a Ford passenger car traveling from the opposite direction.
One person died – a woman who was driving a passenger car. The ambulance rescuers were taken to the hospital. It is not known what their condition is, but according to our information, they were conscious and left the ambulance on their own.

Preliminary police findings
Junior Brig. Dariusz Zajączkowski from the Trzebnica fire brigade informed us that three teams of firefighters and an air ambulance helicopter were dispatched to the incident. The deputy district commander of the State Fire Service in Trzebnica, Brig. Konrad Cisek.
– Preliminary findings show that a woman driving a Ford drove into the opposite lane, colliding with a properly driving ambulance that had its light and sound signals on – told us the press officer of the Trzebnica police, senior midshipman Daria Szydłowska.
The driver of the Ford died on the spot despite resuscitation efforts. An operational group with a prosecutor is working on site.
