Firefighters from Strzyżów (Podkarpacie) were called to a horse who needed help. The animal fell into the underground reservoir and could not leave the same.
The notification was received by the duty officer on Friday morning, simultaneously with the start of the Fireman's Day celebrations at the Strzyżów headquarters. It resulted that the horse fell into the underground tank for waste.
“The actions consisted of removing the concrete part of the tank wall, while protecting the animal against additional injuries,” reports firefighters.
The animal was released and examined by a veterinarian. As the firefighters passed, after all the horse was escorted to the stable.
