A cyclist was hit in Sulejówek. There was no free ambulance, so a helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue flew to the scene. According to the police, both the driver and the cyclist were fined.
The incident took place around 1.20 pm at the intersection of Drobiarska Street and Piłsudskiego Avenue. – A Renault driving lady hit an old man on a bicycle. After being examined by the LPR crew, the man stayed on the scene. He was slightly battered – informed tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Tomasz Zieliński.
Kamil Płochocki from the Minsk fire brigade confirmed that there was a hit: – There was no free ambulance, so a LPR helicopter was called to the scene. The landing field was secured by the Volunteer Fire Department from Sulejówek. Ultimately, the victim was not picked up by a helicopter and did not require hospitalization.
– A man rode his bicycle through a pedestrian crossing, was hit by a Renault driving. They were both sober. The incident ended as a collision for us. The driver was given a ticket, but the cyclist will also not avoid responsibility – he will also get a ticket for crossing the crossing on a bicycle – summed up Marcin Zagórski from the Minsk police.
