Three men were electrocuted while working at height in Sulejówek near Warsaw. All were taken to hospital. One of them is in serious condition.
As reported by the Provincial Emergency Medical Service “Meditrans” in Warsaw, the accident occurred on Rataja Street in Sulejówek. Five men were carrying out cleaning work at heights using a lift on a private property.
“At one point, the operator of the lift, in whose basket two men aged 54 and 74 were working, was electrocuted. The 30-year-old burst into flames,” the ambulance service reported.

As we read further in the press release, three medical rescue teams and an emergency medical service helicopter were dispatched to the scene.
“Paramedics conducted medical rescue operations, including with the operator of the lift. After successful resuscitation, the burned man was transported to hospital by helicopter in serious condition. Two men who were in the lift basket were also taken to hospital. One person refused medical assistance,” wrote the ambulance service, which in the first version of the entry informed about the man's death.
The intervention was also confirmed by Senior Captain Kamil Płochocki from the fire department in Mińsk Mazowiecki. – Three people were injured and taken to hospital – the firefighter indicated.
