On Sunday, the weather will be dominated by a low-pressure vortex from Russia. According to tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Arleta Unton-Pyziołek, in the next few hours our country will be affected by a high-pressure system from the British Isles, which will bring clear weather, but also cold air masses.
Poland is under the influence of a cold, low-lying air vortex from the center over north-western Russia, Arleta Unton-Pyziołek, the weather forecaster for tvnmeteo.pl, reported on Sunday morning. From the west, however, our country is under the influence of the great high-pressure developing in our direction from the center over Scotland. Cold air masses of Arctic origin flow towards us from the north.
On Monday, a high from the British Isles will reach the Black Sea. In clear weather, the temperature at night can drop well below 0 degrees Celsius, to -5/-10 degrees Celsius, and in the mountains to -15 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday morning in Poland there is a cloudy aura with clearing in the western regions and Pomerania. Showers of snow occur in Pomerania, Kuyavia, Lubusz Land, Mazovia, Lubelszczyzna, Silesia and Małopolska. Falling snow is wet, freezing in places on contact with the ground, which means it can be slippery. It doesn’t rain only in the northeast of the country.
Thermometers indicated from -4 degrees C in Zakopane and -3 degrees C in Suwałkithrough -1 degrees C in boat and 0 degrees C in Warsaw up to 2 degrees C Ustka, Łeba and Kołobrzeg. We are generally accompanied by a north and north-west wind, moderate, in the north quite strong at times, gusting up to 55 kilometers per hour.
