A rescue team and fire trucks were sent to one of the planes diverted to Skavsta Airport. The operation was related to low fuel level in the plane. However, emergency services assured that it was a routine operation and the landing was successful.

On Monday, the police issued a statement in which they announced that they had initiated an investigation into the possible airport sabotage and violations of the Security Act.
Daniel Wikdahl, spokesman for the regional police, said the service suspects that “it was a deliberate act.” “We are collecting information about where the drones were and in which direction they were moving. We are cooperating with several other authorities, including Armed Forces – he said, quoted by the Swedish daily Aftonbladet.
The Swedish Armed Forces assured that they were aware of the situation and were in constant contact with the airport authorities.
