According to prosecutor Ove Jaeverfelt, a new phase of the investigation has begun following the police finding murder weaponswith which the man was shot.

Several teenagers were arrested in connection with the case. Among them was the alleged perpetrator, 18-year-old Mohammed MAt the time of the murder he was still a minor. He is currently in custody.
Two underage teenagers suspected of hiding a murderer were sent to juvenile detention centers.
