On Wednesday, police found a silver Suzuki Vitara car from 2002, which was recently driven by her husband, Beata R. The man was arrested on suspicion of abducting a woman or detaining against her will.
During the divorce
According to the Aftonbladet newspaper, the couple was in the process of divorce, and Beata R. sought sole custody of the children and a court ban on contact by her spouse due to the threats and violence she was to experience. However, the application for protection was rejected.
Police called on witnesses who may have seen Suzuki’s car in recent days to provide information. The route taken by the car may be crucial to the case.
