Sweden, Uppsala. Shots in the city center. Killed and wounded

Three people do not live around the shooting in the Uppsala center – the Swedish police confirmed. A roundup is underway to the perpetrator.

The Swedish police reported that several people had injuries indicating gunshot wounds. It was later said that as a result of the shooting, three people were dead.

According to the local newspaper “UT”, the incident occurred in the hair salon (or near it), located at Vaksala Square in Uppsala in eastern Sweden. Witnesses claim that they saw a masked killer escaping on an electric scooter.

The officers previously noted applications from residents who heard sounds resembling firearms from Vaksala Square in the city center.

A roundup is underway to the perpetrator, part of the Uppsali center was closed, a police helicopter is years above the city.

The police initiated an investigation in connection with a triple murder. The motive is not known yet, but as the media suppose, it can be associated with gangs.

In Sweden, from the beginning of the year there has been a decrease in the number of shootings compared to previous years. This year, 19 people were killed in 50 shootings, of whom 11 are victims tragedy at school in Örebro, not related to organized crime.
