The video provided by the police shows a 20-year-old man standing at a self-service checkout. The man takes his phone out of his pocket, and at that moment something falls out of his pocket. As it later turned out, it was a bag of marijuana.
The incident took place in Świdnik (Lublin Voivodeship). A security employee of one of the grocery discount stores notified the police that he found a ziplock bag in the store that may contain drugs.
The item was lying on the floor near the self-service checkouts.

When the officers arrived, they found marijuana in the bag.
“After reviewing the surveillance, it was determined that there was a young man at the cash register, whose bag fell out of his pocket while taking his phone out,” described Staff Aspirant Elwira Domaradzka from the District Police Headquarters in Świdnik in a statement.
Charge of possession of a narcotic substance
The officers determined that the man visible in the recording is a 20-year-old resident of Lublin. The man was arrested. He was charged with possession of a narcotic substance.
“He faces up to three years in prison,” the policewoman concluded.
