Symfonia announces the acquisition of a new strategic investor, Accel-KKR

Symfonia has acquired another investor specializing in the software industry, i.e. Accel-KKR, the company announced. The financial details of this transaction are confidential.

The transaction is still subject to administrative and antimonopoly proceedings.

Accel-KKR is a global investment firm with a total capital of $19 billion. The company specializes in companies related to software and technology. Accel-KKR is headquartered in Menlo Park, with offices in Atlanta and London. According to the press release, Accel-KKR will join Symfonia’s current investor – MidEuropa.

– We appreciate the trust placed in us by the Symfonia and MidEuropa team in the context of our role as the leading investor. I believe that Accel-KKR’s facilities will allow Symfonia to develop even faster not only in Poland, but also in Central and Eastern Europe – said Maurice Hernandez, Managing Director of Accel-KKR.

Symfonia offers solutions for business in the areas of enterprise resource planning (ERP), finance and accounting as well as HR and payroll for SMEs and accounting offices in Poland. As stated in the press release, in March 2021. Symfonia has separated from the global ERP software provider – Sage.
