– The subject of the World Woman Davos Agenda conference is equality and how women can co -create the world at present and in the future. The TVN Foundation was a hostess of a discussion panel about philanthropy, where we talked with global philanthropy leaders, people who set up their own foundations and run them all over the world – said Zuzanna Lewandowska.

– As a media partner of this event, we want to bring to Poland and expand the view of women's leadership and women's participation in building a better world – she added.

She reminded that the motto of the TVN Foundation is “we are building a healthier world”. – But he will never be healthier or better without women. And we want to take care of it here. And we are glad that the TVN Foundation, as well as our entire company is part of it – she noted.

In her opinion, the most important is the systemic change, which must lead to cultural change so that stereotypes functioning about the roles of women and men cease to exist. – You need to replace them with such models of social cooperation that are open to men and women. We have to do it together. Women cannot win their way to equality themselves, men must help them in this – said Lewandowska.

Financing initiatives for women remains limited

According to reports of the World Economic Forum with a global gender equality rate and global philanthropy, targeted investments in activities supporting the strengthening of women's position can significantly speed up global economic and social progress.

Current analyzes indicate that the closing of the global sex gap could increase the world GDP by $ 12 trillion until 2025. Unfortunately, financing initiatives for women remains limited – only 1.6 percent. global philanthropic funds are allocated to promoting gender equality. Focusing on strategic and high -range investments can help reduce these differences and create permanent, positive changes.
