Marek K., a lawyer from Szczecin, was sentenced to six years in prison and a 10-year ban on practicing law for forging four wills. The case came to light after the provocation of “Superwizjer” TVN. The lawyer’s secretary received a suspended sentence.

The court found the Szczecin lawyer Marek K. and his secretary Ewa T. guilty of forging four wills. The man was sentenced to a total of 6 years in prison and a fine of PLN 45,000. He will also have to pay the victims PLN 50,000 in compensation. The court also banned him from practicing law and providing related services for a period of 10 years.

Ewa T., the court conditionally suspended the sentence of 1.5 years in prison for a period of 3 years. She was also fined PLN 5,000.

He agreed for PLN 100,000

The case came to light after the provocation of TVN’s “Superwizjer” journalists, which took place in 2013. A lawyer from Szczecin, Marek K., was then detained after he agreed to forge a will in an interview with a journalist. At that time, the lawyer was to value his services at PLN 100,000.

According to the reporters’ findings, the services were interested in several documents that could have been forged in a similar way by Marek K..

The magazine’s reporters also determined that the will was forged it could have been used to take over the hotel in Karpacz by Paweł Swhose value is estimated at several million zlotys. Paweł S. was detained in connection with the use of a fictitious will, the forgery of which was allegedly assisted by attorney Marek K.
